My wife and I are off back to our apartment in Hisaronu in three weeks time.. and will be there until July 5th as the first part of our 2013 visit. Last season was a very quiet year for Hisaronu in general .. particularly May and October, with the seasons it seems reducing to mainly 4 months a year now instead of 6.
Will 2013 be any busier ?? certainly the poor english summer last year might help bookings abroad, but will or can Turkey cash in ?
Will the exchange rate remain high in Turkey ? although its dropping slightly of late
Or will it be a continuing case of `` more germans, scandinavians, and russians` again and the decline of english visitors continuing ?
Personally I think the numbers for 2013 will be about the same as 2012... I cant see an improvement in numbers happening this year.

If it is worth anything at all, I can report that enquiries for private rentals at CalisVilla (comparing the first two weeks of Jan 2013 with the first two weeks of 2012) are up around 40%.
This is a snapshot statistic of course but is nevertheless encouraging. That said, 2012 was without any doubt the worst year in the last ten that CV has been running.

Good to hear the `booking` trend for 2013... and a very impressive web site and prices there Keith :)

Are any of those properties listed available for long tem rent, or just holiday lets?
-
They are on there as holiday lets - although we do get enquiries asking for long term but I don't think the owners are looking for that.
-
Thanks, what would be your recommendation as the best and most reliable source for long term.
