Vaccinations for children
« on: September 13, 2012, 14:22:46 PM »
My daughter's going to an A.I near Bodrum. She's swithering about jags for her kids. Any advice? Think it's a recommendation rather than a neccesity.

It may be a good idea to speak with your Dr in Uk. She, our Dr gave good advice when we were coming out here and going furher back to our kids. There seems to be a standard set of timed jabs that can be kept up to date with all that would be required. Our Daughter works in Thailand and advice was given to her too. The younger kids will be able to have boosters later if brought up to date now.

We had our kids jabbed when we first went to Turkey but did not follow up with the boosters etc afterwards.
We thought we were coming to a third world type country before we first visited.

Jabbed for what though?  Not very informative.

Our kids never had any jabs for Turkey - just the usual ones they get anyway. I can report both are alive.

They have had all their usual jabs and my daughter had hoped that would be enough. She'll be grateful for all your feedback. Thanks folks.
