India Visa From Turkey

Can anyone give me some advice on whats the best way of doing a tourist visa to India from Turkey.We are thinking of going on holiday to India but not sure which is the best way of doing the visa.Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has done the visa from here.(Turkey).Many thanks.

I know people who have done this frequently.
They have to go to Istanbul.
I think the last time they had to be there for several days.
When they come back to Fethiye, i will ask.

Hopefully, someone will be on here before too long to help you more.

We got our visa's at the Embassy in Ankara. For this area allegedly it was Ankara not Istanbul. The information on the web site is not very clear but I suppose if some people have got theirs in Istanbul then you can get them there too.

If I had to choose a city to stay in for a few days and wait it would not be Ankara!

Doğan actually decided to take the passports himself but you can send them with Kargo which I would recommend over the PTT signed for service.

Turkish citizens get theirs back the same day. Non citizens have to wait several days for theirs to be processed and returned.

HI did ours in Istanbul, takes around 3 working days to process, you will also need a couple of passport sized photos and $50 per application.
