Istanbul Hotels in Beyoglu area, Tunel or Galata.

Would appreciate, any help to identify any hotels that anyone can recommend in these areas, bogeyed with T/a and Booking.com.

Is there a specific reasons these areas are chosen? I think the main tourist hotel areas are across the Galata Bridge in Sultan Ahmet or at the top of Istiklal in the Taxim Square area. But I guess there are also some in your specified areas.

Thanks Colwyn. Wanting to explore other areas than the more popular side where we have stayed on other occasion.. Galata and Tunnel are a little quieter, Taksim and lstiklal Cad not too far away. Rivers and the Asian side easy from there too. Hope to do some revisits time allowing.

Jackaranda Hotel just off Istikal Street,   nice small hotel   , but be aware of the ladies of the night!!!!!!

Thank you Calvin. On the short list looks good, that area may be noisy at night, certainly one for consideration. If you can handle the "nightlife" then we will give it a go.

Pera Rose and Pera Tulip in Beyoglu are quite popular.  Stayed in both and they are close to Istiklal and Tunel.

Again Thanks. WW. Little further out but will give then another look. Not always easy to judge distance on the maps. One of the Pera we do like the look of, though not  location this time, is the Retropera.
