we got to dalaman airport yesterday 12.30pm and was told the flight was delayed for 6hrs ( groans all around ) :(
we were offered 2 slices of pizza and small bottle of water  :o
we booked in to the vip lounge and spent the 6hrs in there   ;)
not bad till a family of 12 adults and 20 kids turned up chaos :(
when they left the lounge they filled up their bags with most of the food that was left we all had a quiet time for 30 mins
we found out the delay was caused in manchester, when they damaged the aircraft putting the passenger walkway on
after all that we had a great flight home

I have noted lately the V.I.P Lounge is getting busier that it has ever been.  This even when the price has gone up from 19Lira to 25 Lira.  However, very useful for a long delay.  Bad luck Puma, nothing worse than hanging around an airport for hours.

Didn't know you could just check into the VIP lounge. Very useful to know should there be delays in the future.

Bad luck there, puma :(

They often restrict your time though. Sometimes they throw you out after 2 hours, sometimes 3 hours
