Looking For An Answer
« on: October 25, 2013, 12:50:19 PM »
I was looking through some pictures from our holiday in September and remembered that I had wanted to find out what these straw piles where.

I was up in the mountains near Salikent when I took these and would like to know if anyone has an idea. I know there were lots of Beehives up there but couldn't think of a link.

Some more stacks. But what are they? HINT: it is a crop in September drying out before final harvest.

They also harvest sesame up in them thar hills and that's how they stack it to dry in the sun. Once they've stood for a few weeks the stalks are threshed to get the seeds.
