worrying documentary
« on: January 03, 2014, 05:27:26 AM »
I originally put this post in the Debating Chamber, but I am so concerned about its content, I thought other should have the opportunity to watch it.

I watched this programme last night and I think it important for anyone living or going (as are me and mrs TC), to live their, watches this.

If the information is correct, then to me it is deeply worrying.

This is common knowledge to most people living here Tuzlachap.. Those who keep up with The news that is.. Lots of info on FB from worried ex.pats. Factual.. The riots and arrests of journalists has been going on a long time but has gained momentum this year.. There has been little on UK news about these incidents and most things are blocked as soon as they appear on The internet.. Anyone posting items about the troubles soon find them blocked too.. Turkeys human rights have been well documented in the past and yet they still insist that they will be allowed in The EU.  Never in a million years???? Erdogan is becoming a dictator.. That's according to those in The know?

Yes, I could point you to a couple of threads on another forum I use, where all the current political shinanikins are being discussed.

Or you could discuss them on here, rather than pointing people out of CBF...

Sorry Scunner but I'm not up on Turkish politics enough to discuss it, I just read the threads posted by those who appear to be in the know. There is definitely a lot of dirty washing being hung out at the moment by all accounts. More plots and counter plots than a "Who Dun It".
