Title: Advice on Living in Calis
Post by: bellababy on May 25, 2008, 20:42:15 PM
Whatever you do, dont ask any questions you want serious answers to on this forum.

It is full of retired know it all wannabees who's wives wont let them up the pub and spend their days and nights acting like old farts laughing at peoples serious questions.

BE WARNED

Bellababy - I am not retired, I certainly do not know it all, and I don't think that I wannabee anything.

However, I may well be considered to be an old fart by those who know me, but you don't, so you cannot legimately hold that opinion.

At no time did I laugh at your "question". If you read back through my contributions on The Tax Office thread, I think you'll find that I only expressed an opinion. I also notice that you did not respond to any of the replies made. Why is that.

Anyway, good luck at the Tax Office the next time.

As this guy has brought nothing to the forum (again) I suggest all his posts should be deleted. I will do this personally if you want  :)

Actually now we know it's MY WAY I guess he'll be going ONE WAY:D

I don't know as I have never paid car tax but maybe the guys in the tax office nudge each other and send him from one desk to another on purpose, maybe it's not their attitude it's his!!

Bellababy, you might be surprised to learn that the top ten 'old farts' have collectively made more than 50,000 contributions to this forum over the years and the forum continues to attract new members every single day. I am sorry that things have not worked out for you but you aren't going to make many friends among this community by slagging off the forum so soon after joining.

You can please some of the people some of the time and ******* to the rest of them  ;)

Truth is, in the days before the forum, we had to put our entire faith in everyone who tried to help us - now we help each other and the information at our fingertips means those who try to pull wool over eyes have the collective experiences of 4,500 to contend with.

Like when I was charged £271 for one small aircon unit in 2003 - because there was no-one else to ask.
