My suggestion would be to get a bus from the otogar heading to Marmaris or Mugla. This should stop at Koycegiz Otogar. The stop is on the main road and a long way from the village centre. I would then get a dolmus from the Koycegiz otogar to the village centre. The dolmus will take you to about 200 yds from the lake.

I don't think you can get beyond Gocek on the dolmus in that direction from Fethiye, so it would have to be a bus from the otogar

I'm sure you can get the dolmus from the otogar without having to change

This is the best way to do it and it is about a 20mins walk maybe a bit less or a bit more depending how fast you walk to the lake from the drop off at the Koycegiz Otogar.

If you go on a Monday there is a market which is scattered around the town and down side roads. Fruit and veg and home accessories is down a side street on the right hand side as you walk into the town.

It is a pleasant place to spend a few hours and quite a few good eating places too. Kardesler (Brothers) is one worth checking out but I thought it was better before they modernised!

"mean and moody" - perhaps a tad harsh description of the chairman of the board nichola.

Then again.............

I'll have you know (even though you do already) that I am neither moody nor mean in "real life", it's a character I adopt on here that makes dealing with people like you a little easier :D
