the thieves that had been very big trouble for english people that live in üzümlü for 4 years are arrested last night!
jandarma arrested them while they were stealing..
congratulations to our jandarma!
they were on duty for many days and they succeeded..
it's a good start for today :)

sopcaz the official response from Uzumlu Jandarma is that they are not handing out any information on this as they are seeking more arrests and recovery of goods and do not want to jeopardise their ongoing investigation. The rumour mill is already stipulating the arrested have confessed to 100's of burglarys in various towns and cities but until they release an offical statement take them all with a pinch of salt.

What difference does it make who they are/where they come from?? Just take solace from the fact that some thieving scum-bags have been apprehended, and should face a good few years in prison.

I wonder if the Jandarma do the same as the police and beat them severely. I do hope so.

there is still an investigation. for now not to know about them is the best. but i can say it will be better :)

The difference it makes is that if I was burgled, I would want to know if the persons involved, were known to me. I am fortunate that I have not been burgled, but I would still like to now if this person is a local because these people might have been here casing the joint in the guise of being a friend.
