...and come Friday we should be the proud owners of a two-bed apartment on Lapis!!
Many thanks to all of you who recommended Cenk & Olga at Interturk - couldn't have asked for anyone more helpful.
So, we'll be seeing some of you soon hopefully!!

Hi and congratulations, I spoke to you briefly when you came to view with Cenk, hope you will be very happy. As for barking dogs that's total rubbish, there's a German Shepard that was on the balcony and did bark a lot, now it is kept inside and we very rarely hear anything from it, there's also a Golden Retriever that's totally quiet. Chico the site dog only barks if there's a stranger, as soon as she knows you and she's got a very good memory she just comes up wagging her tail. Also our new site rules mean that when the two people leasing (both Turkish) move out there will be no dogs in apartments. So a very warm welcome to Lapis.

And Glenn, if I remember correctly, I think it was you we spoke to as we were entering the complex one day and had a brief chat in front of the 'Lapis flowerbed'?
We back over on the 31st October (though not there until late) for a few days just to move in and start bringing some stuff over so If anyone is still around then, do drop in and say 'Hi'.

We have just rented an apartment on Lapis for May 2015.. Looks a lovely spacious complex.

Well, after a few days at or new second home, even though the season has come to and end, I can safely say that we have no regrets at all!
Problem is, nobody warned us how hard it is to go back to Blighty when it's your own place you're leaving. Hopefully, the VIP lounge at Dalaman this evening will cushion the blow!
Still, back again April, July and September, possibly Christmas too as TC now fly in December!
(Oh, and I think we've got a friend in Chico, she's been sleeping on our terrace every night)

Hi Sian and Ian, So pleased to welcome some more animal lovers to Lapis, Chico is a lovely girl, I am so pleased you were able to give her some cuddles while you were there. its unusual for there not to be at least 2 of us on site, but glad Chico and the keddies made you welcome, its been her home since birth 8 years ago. so she does roam around like she owns the place.
Look forward to meeting you next year. and glad you are as pleased with your purchase as all the rest of us are. its a great place to be.

Mind you, as I said to Sian, at least when you pay to use it, you actually get something for your money such as a comfotable seat, WiFi, and refreshments unlike if you pay for something in the general airport where you're just paying for blatant profiteering!
