has anyone used a site where they deliver the money to your door? Have been looking at exchange rates and think I will buy now. Any recommendations please?

Find information on exchange delivery prices here, just put in Turkish Lira and the amount you want:

I've used Travel fx for delivery and their rates were always good - not checked recently but Post Office was 4.0 today.

Don't know what sites you have tried but I would have thought the Post Office would be a good bet.

It was 4.1 at change office in calis today so reckon 4 from post office isn't bad.

The other year I used International Currency Exchange (ice) who are in partneship with TorFX. Home delivery was free for over £500 and they supplied a good mix of all denominations of notes from 100s down to 5s.

1.24 (or thereabouts) is the going rate today.  You'll get a few cents either way from the usual suspects like M&S, TC et al, but unless your changing thousands, the difference is pretty minimal.
