This is happening in Fethiye now too. I know we have a feral cat problem but this is a disgustingly cruel way to control them.

Hearing that the lady who works in golden moon estates (sevim) sadly lost her dog lucky this weekend due to poisoning, what is wrong with the people who do this >:(

So sorry to hear of the death of Sevim's dog. He was beautiful. :'(

Hi Rana no the Labrador is still there, was a slightly smaller dog used to go on the moped with sevim.

It looked slightly collieish and sat in the footwell of her scooter. It was so well trained and went everywhere with her. A lovely dog, she must be heart broken. :'(

I have one of that Pompeylee. We may have bumped into each other on the day that was taken! Mine doesn't have the scarf. I think this dog belongs to Mete, but I may be wrong. :)

Yes thanks pompeylee i remember the labrador because of his scarf always looked cool but the eyebrows well that's another story....Mete has a small pomeranian Sadler. We fell in love with it two years ago when we stayed at Golden Moon, so much that we got our own pom this year and named him Gıgı after his dog :D

Hi Rana, I knew he had a Pom. But he also had a German Shepherd, when we were last out there. Those dogs are so beautiful and well behaved, it puts ours to shame. Where would we be able to leave a dog outside for years on end and they would behave as these ones do? Beautiful! :)

Certainly not my cheeky pom Sadler ;D didn't know Mete had a German shephard, when we were at hotel he had the pom and a small pekinese.

Never stayed at his hotel, Rana, we had a duplex which he built. He used to run with his German shepherd and had a villa very close to us. Could never understand how beautifully well behaved the dogs are out there. They are so grateful for any kindness shown to them. If I came across a pack of dogs here, I would be terrified, out there, they are so squishy and friendly. :)

More dog poisonings have happened.One of the regular street dogs B.B. has been poisoned and didnt make it.An autopsy was performed and the findings are being sent to the local prosecutor.It is against the law to poison any animal,Law 5199 but unfortunately unless there is visual proof of the perpetrator
actually putting down the poison there is not much that can be done.
