A while ago Scunner closed the forum.
I felt like I had lost a limb.
It was my daily "go to" site.
It seems to have been terribly quiet of late.
Is this normal for early February?
So few postings gives me cause for concern.
Wales rugby today - nothing from Colwyn.
Scotland - nothing from Highlander.
Seeking reassurance that all will continue as before.
Not yet paranoid - merely concerned.
-
A good point stuart T - I was just thinking the very same.
As for Wales rugby today - nothing from Colwyn - I am 100% sure that, everything else being equal, he will give a balance critique when he has a moment.
As for Scotland - Gregor Townsend was taught a coaching lesson by Warren Gatlin and our players were a disgrace. Whole game was littered with basic schoolboy errorss which a magnificent Wales exploited to the full.

I too felt the same Stuart ( or similar!) when CBF closed. I actually shed a few tears though due to my age that doesnt take too much these days :)

Wont be quiet down the Bambu, this afternoon. Mick's birthday, lots of friends, roast dinner, cake and White Noise Band at 4pm, sunset and plenty of Efes!!! Think in general many people are quiet in Jan, often away too, with cheap holiday deals.
-
And i thought my computer had broken down when this site had closed >:(

even if there's not many postings people still read CBF as I found out when speaking to fatama yesterday who owns Dostane, she mentioned that a couple of people had read about Dostane on here (fatama didn't know about CBF) & didn't want to go if Ali (fat ali) still owned it but went to Dostane just on the mention in CBF, I will try to keep posting pictures of my travels & what I've managed to grow throughout the year on here.

-
We paid 70tl for two large ones last October - not the massive stein/vase size. We did get free peanuts though!

Last night a Tuborg was 11 in Anna Garden and my coffee was also 11 !!! Shocked and unimpressed. Won't be having that again.
Same quality in Summer Breeze 5tl.

Same quality in Summer Breeze 5tl. Summer Breeze seems to be setting the pace for other places to follow as regards service, prices, quality, and atitude
lets hope/pray it continues

Whilst itsgreat for tourists when they see the exchange rates, they don’t realise that pricesin restaurants etc. go up accordingly. Prices dontremain at earlier low rates.
-
That's Turkflation for you. ;)
-
And of course, the converse will be true - local prices will come down when the TL strengthens!!
