Title: Daylight Saving

Just heard on another site that Turkey is to reintroduce daylight savings next month.  The clocks will fall back 1 hour for the first time in 2 years so the 2 hour time difference with UK will remain  rather than increasing to 3 hours. Thank goodness will no longer be watching breakfast tv at lunchtime!!

Thats interesting Piffy as we have flights booked for January which when we calculated the landing time and journey time there was a lost hour so we had assumed Turkey would not be putting clocks back again this year!

I think I read in the Fethiye Times this week that it's been revoked and that they will not be putting the clocks back this year.

Turkey Will Not Reintroduce DST Changes After All

Turkey has reversed its decision to introduce DST in 2018 and will stay on Turkey Time (TRT) permanently.
