Is it possible to transfer from my lira account to my GBP account.
I am with Garanti bank and do internet banking.

Yes. You will need to open a gbp account first then from your TL account “buy foreign currency” ie gbpounds which will be transferred into your gbp account. It’s very simple to do with Garanti.

Not to change it to gbp but the rate you get will be variable. I’ve found Garanti give a much less favourable rate over weekends from say Friday pm to Monday morning but keep checking Garanti rate as it can vary quite a lot.
