Fez Bar

Don't know why but we have never tried the Fez Bar in Hisaronu. However we were tempted out by David and Margaret (Aka Billy Fury). What a great night it was. Dennis and Lisa Davey were performing and we were treated to Geoff who is one of the best amateur singers we have heard in a long time. He used to be in a group in  his younger days. Although he doesn't have the long flowing locks of his youth. He can't half belt out some great blues vocals. Pat (Geoff's wife) is no slouch either when it comes to singing. Therewere also many other "superstars" appearing. We will be going again in 2 weeks time. Dennis. Promise you won't sing in my ears on the plane to Manchester!!! ;)

Went there too on Saturday night (after Codswallop). Pleasant atmosphere, nice people and so much nicer than when I last went (about 8 years ago) now you can't smoke inside.

Outside fire, comfy chairs and tables for smokers in the garden.

The Fez is reopening tonight, having had a complete refurb.

It has undergone an amazing transformation, whilst still maintaining the ambience and atmosphere of the old bar, they still have to "cross the T's and dot the I's" but are persevering to get it finished on time.

Dennis Davey will be appearing to help the night go with a swing.  ;)
