So nothing to do with kids not leaving their playstations, computers etc and getting some exercise. Food no matter what type can be worked off if exercise is taken.

I agree at least Turkish kids play outside. And what many people forget is that Fethiye is a holiday destination for Turks too. They may like to treat themselves to something different while on holiday. Cant see too many Fethiye parents giving the kids money for Dominos pizza except as a treat

Is a normal Pizza from Dominos anymore fattening than a Normal Pide? I think not. Same type of base and same ingredients on top, just a different shape.

This is from "Which" magazine when they reviewed takaway food...  (Surprising the calories in just half a take away pizza).

Pizzas could be a healthier option, with half of a medium pizza weighing in at between 836 and 929 calories.
Fat was again high, with a thin crust pepperoni pizza containing 22.5g of saturated fats

Domino's Pizza and Pizza Hut were unusual in that they did try to offer nutritional information - but Which? found that the Domino's information was incorrect.
Four cheese and tomato pizzas tested were supposed to contain a total of 100g of fats, both saturated and unsaturated, but actually had more than 150g on average.
A spokesman for Domino's said that it was concerned about the finding. "We regularly monitor pizza-making in all of our stores and we are very surprised to see variances of the size that Which? has reported.

Recommended calories per day for men  2,500 for women 2,000
Recommended intake of fat per day for men 30g for women 20g

Dominos Pizza Nutritional value for anyone that interested  ;) ooops looks like this isn't even correct

http://cache.dominos.com/homev8/docs/menu/dominos_nutrition_v2.30.00.pdf

I suspect that a Turkish Pide or lahmacun is more healthy, is certainly made with fresh ingredients and won't taste like plastic
