The link attached is why I think a lot of people have the idea
that that the new visa will be coming into law soon

Hi, I will be in Turkey April to July.  The way my flights are at the moment, I will overstay my visa by 3 days, so I am planning to do the visa run toward the end of my stay to renew my visa.

A couple of questions...

How long before expiry can I renew?  I'll be going to Kos at the beginning of June, and am just wondering if I can do it then?

Also (and I know no-one has a crystal ball) several people have told me that I won't be able to renew my visa in this way after May, in which case I'll have to change my flight home.  I can't find any coherent information on the internet about this. Any clues?

Many thanks

Smiling Eyes. Based on current info as repeated above you will be able to renew in June when you come back from Kos.

Just asking if anyone knows the current situation...

I arrived into Dalaman on 23 april and got a visa saying '90 days in 180 day period'.  This was the same as when I came last July, and that was abandoned so I just assumed that Dalaman were using up old Visa stickers!

But my friend arrived from UK this week into Bodrum airport and has the same visa stamp.  So now I am wondering....

It is important because I am due to stay here till July (three months) but also need to be back here for a couple of weeks in October, so I may have to go home early this trip to save a couple of weeks for later.

Anyone????

Many thanks!
