simit breads Ithink are the bready pastry type with different fillings,sometimes sweet,sometimes savoury .Its like carb fest Russian roulette when you buy one never knowing whats in it !

That should have said peanut butter, have no idea why predictive text couldn't leave peanut... But actually walnut butter sounds much nicer!

We bought some little round savoury pastries.  Some had potato in and some had cheese. I warmed them up for breakfast and they were lovely.  Anyone know what they are called?

According to your your description , I would say it's  "Acma" ( achma ) , Jacqui.

Cikolata Kremali Kruvasan packs of ten on sale in Kipa alongside the bread and and the small Nokta Minimarket by the till in Calis for around 4ish lira,
Good sub for chocolate croissants,

Thanks Folks,  We bought them in Azda in Hisaronu and the girl told us there were either potato or cheese, so we got a mixture and then forgot which was which, they were really good though..
