My niece,who is only 30 years of age has filed for divorce.She has 3 children,two by her husband.The eldest was adopted by him.He is a laid back individual who can't be bothered with his children,but our niece has a short fuse.
I am not getting involved but I feel so helpless.
I don't like standing back but on this I have to.
No wonder I can't sleep at night.

hope there is a light at the end of the tunnel . just be there for your niece she will need  a shoulder to cry on.

Oh that's so sad.  We went through this with my sister earlier this year and it was heart breaking.  They've actually got back together for another try which is great.  Whether it's forever or not is another matter.  Fingers crossed.
