I asked several of the stall holders at calis on Sunday if the market would be on Tuesday await was bayram and they confirmed it would be so here's hoping

A friend I have in Fethiye has it on Facebook this morning that she has heard some stalls will be there, as the animals are not going to be in the Fruit & Veg bit... It's all going to happen in the playground of a local school !!!!

It was a very depleted market.  The covered fruit and veg area and down the side of the river was completely empty and the non food side was only about a third of the usual size.  There were still quite a few tourists about.

Fethiye centrum was like the UK on Xmas Day but the permanent market was open.
