Oranges and Lemons........

Well I haven't seen the "silly summer prices" quoted above, oranges in the market this year have stayed at 5tl for 4 kilos.

Oranges were at 5tl / kilo around the back end of the summer, both on Calis & Patlagic markets

Tuzlachap please tell Mrs.T that  you can make great chutney from turunc (seville oranges). I have a great recipie for orange and apricot chutney. Also like Liz I freeze my lemon juice and I also freeze slices of normal orange - great for adding to  drinks instead of ice cubes.

Price increase at Patlangic market today, oranges are 75kr & 1tl per kilo & yes I know it's winter! Potatoes up in price as well 2.50tl per kilo.

Potatoes have actually gone down, if that's the price this week. Last 2 weeks have been largely 3kgs @ 10tl or 3.33333 tl / kilo

Lemon prices hit a 10tl high, up from 7tl the past few weeks
