Erdogan's cronies trying to put the blame on Facebook for initiating this protest!!  This party was spawned, seemingly, to take uncommitted voters away from voting against Erdogan's government at up-coming elections, and the protests today have gone a long way to giving him more ammunition in his plans to close down social media.

We are currently making plans for our visit to Fethiye in June, but this type of carry on makes one wonder if it going to be safe or not !!

We were in Fethiye most of the day, heavy showers at times. We did not see any protesters and the only problem we encountered was a road closure by the main mosque stopping traffic going into the town centre.
