Ok. following on from my review of a week in Fethiye (which I haven't actually posted yet), here is a completely meaningless topic.
We've all had nights out when at god knows what time of the morning the alcohol just keeps flowing. The reality hits when you get the wee box with the bill - you open it and go "holy phuck!".
Over the years we've had some horrendous bills in Istanbul, and I do mean horrendous - fortunately on most of those occasions someone else has been paying (work related). However a few weeks ago in Fethiye I was presented with a bill that would have brought tears to the eye of any Scotsman. Take three (of age) teenage girls, mix in their Scottish parents, add the atmosphere of their last night in Fethiye and what do you get in the box?
Not going to reveal all right now but curious to know what your largest bar bill has been...
