No, you are right - and I was meaning locally in the Fethiye area as opposed to elsewhere.

ah Happy memories, not local but my partner booked a surprise trip to the Maldives -somehow the bar bill ended up costing more than our combined total flights and holiday bill.... (flaming lamborghinis featured high on the list).

Two birthdays combined in April 2011 at the Sundial circa £3000. UK and Turkish friends and no we  didn't stay the night at £50 a pop. We were about 40 souls in all - get in !

In Turkey, for me the biggest bar bill always happens at the end of a boat trip. I sometimes wonder how the boats can offer a day out with lunch for £5-10. Then I remember what my bar bills usually total.

Otherwise, I'm too tight to blow money in really expensive bars. I like my beer (and wine) but would rather have a half-decent £10 bottle of wine at home rather than a rubbish £15-20 bottle in a bar/restaurant.

Hello Jack, just got on here, my biggest bar bill was the corner pub restaurant, and I wasn't even there, some barsteward put all their meals and drinks on my tab, any idea who Mate, im still looking.
