Other than posting a Google Earth view of the area I am not sure how to answer your question johnrc.

I would say you have to ask what you think of it. People who own around the Pelin will tell you it is the best area to buy in. Everyone else will say they prefer the area they bought in  :)

If you like it, there's your answer  ;)

It looks like a nice quite area, but talking to other people who have said that the area is more prone to crime. not sure if this is true or not.
thanks John

It is purely a case of personal choice but you might like to factor other things into your decision like safety and security.  Some areas see more break ins than other areas and likewise some areas see opportunist thieves grabbing bags and mugging people.  Check everything out then make your own mind up.

Some nice houses in that area one in particular pass the Pelin and go toward the bridge over the canal there is a huge house as big as a small Hotel.  It belongs to one family who seem to use it as a holiday home. It's a lovely place.  We pass that area all the time and can see nothing wrong with it.  No noise at night, but nice and handy for the prom.  I have seen some new houses being built there and they look good.

My only concern with the area is that the further back from the sea you go, the further you need to walk for a shop etc. There are indeed some very nice properties though.

There is a new shop opened up. Cross the bridge and go left and on the first right is a brand new little shop with all the necessary items.  There is an older couple that run it and the seem to stay open quite late.  it's just as big as a large garden shed but we were saying we had to admire the fact someone had opened up there, in the middle of a lot of houses, with no shops.
