DASK AND home insurance
« on: January 18, 2018, 01:35:05 AM »
After some advice please, we usually renew our DASK and home/contents through our bank (HSBC), it expires in December and after a couple of emails they usually renew it for us and take the money from our account .
This year I have been told by the bank that the rules have changed and I must either go into the bank in person to sign or someone must go on my behalf.
Is this a rule specific to the HSBC or it it a new rule for everyone? At the minute my insurance has lapsed and I am desperately trying to renew it from the UK, can anyone offer any advice please??

We do ours in the UK with Intasure. Never had any issue with it although I'm sure they charge a little extra.
