Think you are thinking of Sands Bar ran  by Menderes (Mex) and his brother Baris.

Think this photo may have been taken (about three stone ago :( :( :() in the Sands Bar.

If I remember correctly when Menderes first opened that place, he pleaded with us to come for a meal one night, because, amongst other things he wanted to make the place look busy.

So we agreed a date and time. However on arrival (eight of us if I remember) Menderes told us that his chef had gone to Fethiye. Being the Turkish way, no further explanation or solution was given.  :)  :)  :)
