Hi can anyone tell me if this is correct that if you have residency in Turkey you have a card that gives a better pound to Lira exchange how much extra do you get better than a tourist.

I guess I have been miss informed my friend who lives in Calis told me they have a card and for us to take English pounds as they can get us a better rate so don't no what to do.

You'll get a better exchange rate by changing your £s into TL in Turkey.

If you go to Calis Exchange he will give you a card if you ask. It gets you about another 2 points.

You will defo get a better rate here in Turkey then uk tho poss not at Dalaman airport! Your friends prob mean the change shop in Calis where they give you a card and give you a few more lira
