Surf Cafe-The best beach bar not in calis

Its location near the the end of calis is a bit of a trek, but they do have a curtesey bus running frequently.
A bit of a scruffy entrance-And then you walk around the bend
A great place to spend the day
Looads of places to lounge: turkish cushioned platforms, bean bags on rush mats, beach beds in rush huts and also beach beds on the beach.
A large hand smoothed sandy beach area which extends into the restaurant area
Next door to the wind/kite surfing centre which gives you plenty to watch on breezy days.
Good food and welcoming staff (Ozzie and the follicaly challenged man)

we spent quite a lot of time at the surf cafe when we were over in June and loved it. Great way to spend the day and it is also easier to get into the water their too.
We stayed later one night as we fancied watching the sun go down there and have something to eat and just be beach bums for the evening.
The Sunset was fantastic, the food and drink was good too and we were with friends so the company was good, but the only thing that spoilt it was the mozzies.
Because where you eat is under a lot of folliage, once the sun went down the mozzies came out and we were bitten to death. Such a shame because it was perfect otherwise.  :)

they were really rude to my girlfriend and her art class a few weeks back...we planned to have lunch  there after the morning class, and spend the day on the beach. but after we went to find our sun loungers, we found they had removed her towel and dumped it on an oil barrel...!! So rude when she complained, even laughed at her...!!! Would never use the place again...
