Graham's Funeral

Grahams funeral will be held at 11.0am this Thursday,1st March at the Cemetery situated at Catalarik. This will be followed by food and drinks at the Grapes Garden, Uzumlu. Everyone who wishes is welcome to attend the service at the cemetery and the Grapes Garden.

If you are not sure of the location of the cemetery or you have no transport we will meet in the square by the Mosque in Uzumlu at 10.00am and leave at 10.15am.

Instead of flowers it is the wishes of Graham's family that any donations given will be used for the upkeep of his three dogs to whom he was devoted.

is this the cemetary just passed the Animal Shelter on the left hand side as you drive to Uzumlu or the one on the main Antalya road where most foriegners are laid to rest?

The cemetery is situated off the Dalaman to Antalya Road.  If you drive down the Uzumlu hill to the main road turn right towards Dalaman, travel for about 50 yards and you will see a sign on your right hand side 'Canli Hayvan Pazari'.  Turn right immediately before the sign through the small gap in the new kerbstones and bear to your left across the waste land and drive through the gap in the small metal barriers which are painted yellow, turn right and follow the road, eventually you will come to the cemetery on your left hand side.  Phil

Good news SAM the youngest of Grahams dogs has been rehome yesterday to a lovely couple in Ovacik.
i hope new homes can be found for Ben and Lucy.
Today we can all say good bye to a lovely man who was very much part of our village .
My thoughts are with Graham and his family and friends

it was lovely to see Grahams funeral so well attended, it was a beautiful send off by the lay preacher.
He will be missed by so many people and Trish and family would like to thank everyone and also Laura and Mehmet for the use and hospitality of The Grape Garden.
