I have just made arrangements for new insurance using intasure for my apartment. The every helpful lady asked if I required Earthquake top up. What's that I asked - I don't think I will need it as we already have DASK. She said DASK only really covers you for the emergency side of things in an earthquake - clearing the rubble and a small portion of rebuilding. Earthquake top up put my premium up by £100 so at present I have declined this top up but the policy come on line on the 1st March so I have time to add it but was wondering what other peoples take was on Dask (I have never really asked the question before we just knew we needed it) and whether or not others have organised the top up.
