Title: Rosenborg Danish Blue Cheese
Post by: Scunner on October 18, 2008, 11:04:53 AM
Tesco: £9.81/kg
Migros: £19.19/kg (would have been £24.22 when the rate was 2.06/£)

Just how big are these import duties?

Not sure of the price but I know Azda is cheaper for this Danish Blue, prepacked is double the price of the "wedge cut to order"

The Migros one is "wedge cut to order". At that price I'd want to lick the knife too.

On some foods, especially cheeses, it's a 100% import tax apparently. They're regarded as luxuries.
