Title: Muzzys Place
Post by: kanga on May 02, 2010, 02:18:03 AM
Just to say if visiting Kaya there is a beautiful bar, pool. restaurant, at Muzzys Place.  This is not an advert just somewhere me and my family have visited and would like to share with others.
We have a place in Calis but like to have days and nights away as well so decided to stay at Muzzys for the night. He has beautiful rooms right in the heart of Kaya village and nothing is too much trouble, he even offers pick up and drop off service which is normally done by his dad we christened him Schumacher because although we have driven to Kaya ourselves have never done it in such a quick time and on the old road as well lol. (Dont let this put you off he is very safe and knows the road like the back of his hand).
Just thought this maybe useful if you up there and fancy staying or just want a different day out.

Amanda, Engin is now back from army and sorting out Bar Istanbul.  He seems to have had a memorable time and since getting back has done a few changes to the restaurant.  The place looks great.

I've known Muzzy for about 15 years now, and his dad, or as we know him Rocketman! That journey is indeed fast with him, but incredibly safe!
The hotel is in such an amazing location, we stayed there many times over the years and now its just been refurbished, so even nicer. Would strongly recommend it.
or take your swimming stuff and just stay for the day, use the pool, have lunch/ dinner, just drinks, whatever you like, its so peaceful and always a bit cooler down in the village too.
Paradise!

Never been to Muzzys, but if he offers a free transfer service, we are well up for it.. Do you have a phone number for this place please?  Istanbul is also one of our favourites, and they too offer transfer. Engin was a lovely guy and look forward to seeing him again this summer...

You will have a lovely time up there it is beautiful and Muzzy and his family are so accomodating.  As said previously you dont have to stay overnight you can just go up for the day, swim have drink and food etc.  Once you have been for the first time will guarantee you will visit year after year.

Yes you can and that is what we normally do as well as going up for the odd day trip.  Rooms are fab and is lovely to stay there and relax rather than having a lovely day and then having to get back to Calis. Contact details are on the website as posted above.
