I travel all the time with flythomascook, i think they are fantastic and very cheap flights. Only problem is they dont fly to and from Dalaman in the winter months, hopefully they will sort something out, there loss really, they could make a fortune in winter when every1 is travelling back to the U.K to visit family.
-
Sorry keith where has turkish airlines got blue in it or is it me old eyes .
Lance ;)

-
Lance,
look at the colour of Turkish Airlines, if you can't see the blue its def your old eyes!
I find holidaysupermarket.com v good as it searches most of the above for you and puts all available flights in a nice list, cheapest first for comparison. Still looking for a cheapie next September though....
-
Thomas Cook DO fly to the UK in winter......came back this Monday. :)
-
Not from Manchester until the 24th March.
-
flythomascook.com do fly to Dalaman in the winter as we have flights booked for Feb from Gatwick.
travelsupermarket.com are also excellent as a price comparison site listing cheapest first.
-
I still think you're better booking direct with the airlines, have just booked with Thomsonfly for june from Doncaster at £168- £20 less than Travelsupemarket, its the cheapest flights have been from Donny for some time.
-
That may be the case if ur flying from Gatwick but flythomascook dont fly from Manchester to Dalaman in the winter until like valentine said around the 24th March. Im hoping to come back around that time so it looks like my luck is in!!!
-
I've just seen a company at www.perfectchoiceholidays.com that offer all inc. holidays to varius Turkish resorts inc. Calis, Hisaronu, Olu Deniz.
As it's over 3 years since we have used ANY tour company, unsure if these are good value or not, maybe worth a look?
Gordy.
-
Probably the worst website I have ever seen Gordy 8)
Impossible to find a holiday in Calis using the holiday/flight finder. On the "Latest Offers" Page it offers a package using Kaan hotel, if you select 'book now' it takes you not to a page where you can book the package, but to a page where you can search for a flight and hotel from a blank start - the one where I couldn't find any Calis holidays!
If instead you choose "More Info" rather than "book now" (you may want more info on Kaan Hotel before you book a holiday there) it takes you to a page with useful information - about the Seril 2 Hotel lol

Hi Baz, was just checking prices etc, as you do :) The 2nd link you posted looks very good, very easy search, lots of options on search facility, prices look very competitive too :)
Thanks :)
-
Maybe this has been listed elsewhere ......
http://www.skyscanner.net/cheap-flights.html?AssociateID=adwchitad10
....although it allows you to have wider search for flights
-
Hi Keith,
Had a look at all these Companies, thanks for adding them, but not a lot going from Scotland. I have booked with Scottravel which worked out at least £100.00 cheaper that any of these Companies.
You will need to add them to your list www.scottravelholidays.co.uk
Incidentally, they don't only fly from Scotland they have a lot of flights from U.K. airports too.
Jacqui.

Hi, are flights always much more expensive for May Bank Holiday week? Can't get anything for less than £1400 for the four of us. (Prefer to fly from Bristol/Cardiff. Birmingham or Gatwick as a last resort, as the drive either end is very long.) Thanks for any help. (Also need to be home for the Monday morning as I work in a school, and can't keep "being ill" on Mondays, as I attempt to get back from Calis! Thanks, Julie
-
Hi
Try Goldtrail.Bristol seems the most expensive at £1356. Cardif,Birmingham and Gatwick are advertising 4 seats for £1116 all in,returning in good time for your return to work.
-
Julie, you can get bargains if you book early enough. We got ours through Aegean for end of May for £70 return. If you want really cheap deals for school holidays you need to book almost a year in advance.
-
scunner
Look forward to my next visit and will come and see you. remove pc plantpot please.
-
PMSL
Just gives us the heads up on who we are talking to Neil. No harm in that surely?
You earned that title - very well too - may I add!
-
PC Plantpot.....LOL you earned the title, fair & square :D
-
Thanks for the advice Sandra. We only bought our apartment in the last couple of months, but I will keep in mind the need to buy flights early! I work in a school so am able to come to Calis for every holiday, but its hardly worth it for a week if its going to cost us £1400 plus the transfers. Will keep an eye on them for May 2009 - think ahead! Julie
-
Julie
Because people have bought flights so far in advance, they may find their plans have changed, and need to sell. Worth keeping an eye on this site to see if people are selling any. Also if you raise a new topic stating the dates/airport you are looking for, people will keep an eye out for any offers they come across.
-
Thanks again Sandra. Lots of good advice! I'm sure I'll get better at this "buying tickets early" thing soon! Trouble is, I'm now bypassing 2008, in the hunt for cheap tickets for 2009! Talk about rushing our lives away! Julie
-
Easyjet are starting flights from Gatwick to Dalaman from May 2008.
http://www.easyjet.com/EN/routemap/
-
We are coming out on 13th April from Glasgow. Not booked flights yet but looks like the only airline flying from Scotland is Goldtrail. If anyone has any other info please let us know.
-
Could anyone tell me the prom code for Thomas Cook please
-
Hi Scunner
We are trying to book XL flights to Dalaman and the website will not accept the CALBHTURK code. When phoned, the lady said she had never heard of it!
Is it still valid, please?
Thanks and best regards
Harry and Sheila
-
pls mr scunner will you update the banners on the flights lot of them dont work now and its great to be able to just flick through all the baners.thanks phil
-
Hi Phil
They're all up to date and working now, thanks for pointing it out. I don't know what happened there, they just vanished.
Also an update on UK Airport parking - check out Airparks, some prices are way cheaper.
-
Thanks for that scunner
-
The airport parking banner doesnt seem to work
anymore, thought I'd mention it in case you did'nt
know
-
Hi scunner,I am unable to get any airline link to work??
-
Still not working?
-
It was and then we had to completely reinstall the forum so the links were lost. I'll be working to get them back as soon as.
-
Just flicked through the links to airlines not one connects is it a long term prob,I did report similar prob some time ago regards J
-
Well the answer hasn't changed since I answered this 48 hours ago
-
All of the links worked for me!

We booked a flight last minute to England Heathrow yesterday to fly out of Dalaman at 6.30 last night to Heathrow. The flight was with British Midland . Friends say they have tried to book with British Midland to Dalaman and were told that there was no service there. We booked through Lama travel in Fethiye. Does anyone know the situation on this?
-
Found out! It was a charter flight, very good journey with free telly and good meal. :)
-
Well maybe, but I've used British Midland more than once for Dalaman and there is no entertainment and no meals.
-
:)
-
My husband had to make an unexpected journey to England and we are very grateful to the girls at Lama travel for the polite and efficent service. The British Midland charter flight had a choice of films and TV (he watched Angels and Demons). He is well over six foot and he had plenty of leg room. A blanket and pillow were supplied without having to be asked for and the fact he was able to land at Heathrow made the journey to his destination at the other end very quick. The price £149. He says it was definitely BMI.
Next problem a flight back.
:)
-
Flight chartered by company called Late Escapes.
-
Do you think Goldtrail should be removed as some of my friends lost a lot of money with them and this years holiday ?
-
No I think they should be removed because they don't fly to Dalaman anymore.
-
The airport car car parking banner will not seem to work
anymore, thought I'd discuss it in case you did'nt
know.
-
Came back before all this virus mess. It's good to be away from all that fuss. But need to go back for a few days. Anyone knows how can i?
-
Turkish Airlines have direct flights Gatwick / Dalaman starting 21st June!!!!!
-
Must be close to a record - 8 years between posts :D
-

Hi Fran , can I ask where you were due to fly from , and have they let you get refund for outbound and inbound? A couple of us on here got easyJet flights from Manchester 25/7 and 27/7. Waiting for air bridge need and/ or the mail of doom from easyJet!!!
-
They were from Liverpool we are going to try and change them, just waiting for today’s announcement.

Fingers crossed for us all Fran
-
Friend booked Jet2 I flight from Birmingham for 26 Aug, return 9 Sept.last Sunday. Paid up only to receive cancellation two days later with offer of credit voucher. This is ridiculous. She opted to fly on a different date but is still waiting for confirmation. It’s not on.
-
We’d only booked ours last week, makes you wonder if they are selling flights to get cash in bank, because it takes a while to get it back.

RE the Ryan air Dublin route my goodness so cheap even with a hold bag and seat reserved £135 each return in august , were tempted to fly from Bournemouth to Dublin @ £15 each way stay on the plane for 45 mins as it goes onto dalaman like wise the return flight, food for thought!! ;) unless dermot changes the times
-
Are you sure it's the same plane from BOH to DLM if you go via DUB ?
-
it says 40 min turnaround seems to tight as most seats ect will have to be cleaned I will keep my beady eye on this
-
My thoughts exactly.
-
£15 each way with a hold bag?
-
Just received an email to say my refund from Easyjet has been processed. However I can still log on under "manage disruption" and it offers me the chance to change the flights. Shame they haven't released July 21 yet :(
-
stoop £ 15 each way p p , Bournemouth to Dublin £ 150 each Dublin to dalaman total return p p includes 15 kg hold bag
-
There’s the hold bag from Bournemouth too
-
The £15 soon adds up when you add priority boarding which includes seats too
-
All booked now can’t wait
