Title: Metal detector shop in Fethiye?

Does anyone know if there are any shops that sell metal detectors in Fethiye or near to Fethiye if so what shop and how much roughly would we expect to pay for a decent one? Thanks for any suggestions   :)

I don't believe that metal detecting is legal in Turkey.

Someone on here will clarify I'm sure.

That's correct - you'll spend time at the Tasyaka Hilton if caught doing that Karen!!

It's not illegal as such, but you have to be very careful about where you use them. If you get caught using one in any area that may have mild historical or military significance, you could be in trouble.

The gunshop on the outskirts of the fish market used to sell them. Not sure if he still does.

definitely illegal in Turkey ,unless you would like to spend time in prison
