Never liked that woman, mainly because of her and Bernie Grants comments subsequent to the Tottenham riots in 1985.

I worked it out the other day that the last time the party for which I voted in a general election actually managed to win it was over was over 42 years ago. I can't see my run changing this year - with or without the help of Diane Abbott. Perhaps it is a good thing. Some Labour rank-and-file bloke I heard the other day was musing that 2017 was a good election to lose. It will take at least 5 years to work through the economic trauma of leaving the EU, the government will take the blame for the wreckage and become unelectable for a generation. I don't much like this kind of "strategic" thinking and, anyway, even if it turns out to be right I don't have a generation to sit around enjoying it.

IMO she is a female version of Keith Vaz, obnoxious self serving hypocrites. >:(

Vote Labour - you must be joking.
And Corbyn said he wasn't embarrassed - well Jeremy you really should have been.
Says it all in my opinion.

Corbyn and Abbott were lovers in the 70s. Perhaps she knows too much to sack her again. ;)

More like Abott and Costello :)

I was reading that Corbyn has been a magnet to women for years and they have always been attracted to him???
His third wife is 20 years his junior and a very attractive Mexican woman, who keeps out of the limelight.
He and Diane were together in the 70's. So, perhaps he feels he he owes her something, or perhaps he cannot get anyone else to do the job. Whatever it is, she is a confused woman. Imagine her being in the Cabinet..Scarey...
-
She would be in charge of MI5 - or is that MFI in her case?

Perhaps there will be a coalition government with Diane Abbott and Barmy Boris in the same cabinet. Won't that be fun!

I think one will be gone after the election and it won't be Abbott.

She's just been on TV dodging questions about yesterdays Labour trouncing. She's forecasting a Labour victory at the
General Election with a Labour majority of -----about--------about-------err about----erm----- 387 Trillion----erm no-------
---------nearer 945 Trillion.-----------------Give or take a few. ??? ???

At least T'resa is unlikely to go off script: "Strong and stable. Exterminate. Strong and stable. Exterminate. Strong and ....... so on".

Too many Diggers methinks. ;) Take more Scotch pies with it.

" do you know how many seats you've lost?"
" well....at the time of this interview it's about 50"
"It's actually 125"
"The last time I checked it was 100. It's a moving target"
So she checked and it was 100 but when asked the question she says its 50!
Either even more stupid than I thought or just a straight forward lier.

They're not mutually exclusive,
She's both.

education,education,education.

She should have gone to the same private school as her kids.

Labour have crashed and burned in the local Council Elections. Conservatives have done so well, even in Scotland. Keep it up Jeremy we love you, you are doing a great job.
-
No credible opposition is a little worrying.Even I don't want to live in a Tory dictatorship. But it's such fun watching them crash and burn :)
-
An early election may allow an early change in Labour leader. That's about the only good thing that is likely to come from the election - apart from UKIP scumbags disappearing from view.
-
Andy Burnham, voted Metro Mayor of Manchester. Jeremy Corbyn arrives to celebrate. No sign of Andy! So Corbyn celebrates without him. Total embarrassment.
-
Burnham celebrated elsewhere :)

Ukip's job is done. They are now defunct.
-
UKIP are now a spent force. Once Farrage got the country to vote for Brexit there was nothing more for the Party to do.

.. and all their votes are transferring to Mrs May :)
-
I'm not sure UKIP are a spent force. They're the only political party with the balls to talk about mass immigration, and it's
effect on housing, services like Hospitals, schools, jobs and employment prospects, and social unrest in inner city areas.
The rest just pay lip service, with one eye on voters intentions. UKIP are keeping it up at the top of the agenda.
UKIPs new leadership is another matter entirely. ;)
-
I think you are partly correct Kevin. They are certainly keeping a close eye on brexit and Mrs May. I'm sure they will pipe up again if it's not going their way.
