A little of the beaten track but Im sure some will know what is significantly missing from this photo.

I guess those of you in Turkey can't see the pic which may make it a bit more interesting   ;)

No idea what's missing (yet) but glad to know it's a Turkey thing I can't see pics but using a VPN enables me to see pics

I've got no idea where it is but it's seems to have a distinct lack of rubbish strewn along the road and the banks.

Spot on Steve.

The rusty steel hoppers conveyors and piles of stone used to be on the other side of the canal just there - along with a very ferocious alsatian.

Fond memories of your pic. Before the canal became the Great Wall of Calis, it used to be my favourite dog walk.  Early morning, builders brew, in my flask, clamber down the bank and sit on a rock, Honey Dawg used to splosh in the canal.  Even went in it a few times to cut down bull rushes( before I knew about the black river snakes lol) Sheep grazing on little grassy islands.  Further along the other way, was her special swimming place, near the metal bridge, opp derelict Little Venice Houses, which were occupied! and hooked up to the electric pole !!! Frogs, terrapins, kingfishers, etc I was totally at one with nature. Back in the day.............
