Driving over with furniture

Hi all,
I want to drive over this spring with some old furniture from our house in England.
We are not bringing any electricals. Do I need a residence permit?
have tried the search but still not sure.

Yes, you must have Residence Permit, otherwise it will be very difficult for you.

This is MESSAGE TO Barry no 44544. This is a old topic March 2007. Just wondering how Barry got on with taking his old furniture over as i want to do the same this October.

Well you dont need a residence permit but a tapu or a 2 year lease and a tax number.
