Today was so hot that by 3pm I had had enough and wanted to escape to the hills.
I dont want to start an argument, I love Uzumlu, it is a wonderful place, but the drive tends to get to me, it appears to go on and on.
I head for Essenkoy only 5 min drive away from Fethiye and then head for Gokben, the most amazing place, truly magnificent, this is one journey I never tire of.
If you are thinking of hiring a car or jeep whilst visiting Fethiye, take a picnic and head for Gokben, you will not be disappointed.
