The Calis Carnival Committee have been donated a weeks' holiday accommodation in Villa Guzel, a two bedroom villa which sleeps 6 at the popular Telmessos complex right by the beach just outside Calis courtesy of Turkish Holiday Rentals. The week is fixed for 17 May to 24 May 2008. Unfortunately our next Promises Auction will not take place until Carnival week in June so the holiday must be used before then.
We have decided that in order take advantage of the owner's generosity and to raise money for our children's charities we will offer the property to the highest bidder in a one-off online auction. The cost of the particular week would normally be £250 but we will start the bidding at 150ytl (£80) just over £13 each person - and it must go! The villa can be viewed on

The auction is now open for bidding and will close at 18.00 hours (English time) 20.00 hours (Turkish time) on Sunday 16 December. We will then notify the winning bidder of how to make payment and will send them the full details of the accommodation, and contact details.
