Hi all
I posted a question about XL CALBHTURK code under "flights, airports....etc" but no response, so is it ok to raise it on this forum? My wife and three friends have just booked flights to Dalaman with XL. Their website would not accept the code and, when she rang them, the lady said she couldn't get it to work either.
So they had to book the seats full price. She sent them an email about it (no response) and when she telephoned today to follow it up, the XL office said the code should have been accepted but they cannot now refund the £40 because it is all booked, done and dusted and can't be altered. She even suggested there may have been a daily allocation for the code which had been exceeded.
Doesn't seem very good practice by XL, does it? Needless to say, we ain't too chuffed.
