No, it is not just for the "in crowd".  CBF is probably one of the best sources of information about this area we have known since we discovered it.  We used it for moving out here (5 years next month!), and we still use it. Sometimes it feels a bit cliquey but you just ignore those threads really.

I always have to check posting histories before answering questions about 'cliques', I invariably find the reasons there.

Your first or second post included Well I`ve never heared such a load of bo@@@cks in my life from all of you including our leader SCUNNER

I believe I told you to have some respect or sod off. There is no 'in crowd' here. Older members are as welcome as new members provided that all show respect to each other and if they can't, you can be sure they will be told.

My knowledgeable friend JohnF summed it up to me very well recently. Forums are like pubs, everyone is welcome but if a new face turns up being rude and chucking their weight around, they take their chances with the regulars. 99% of forums would have kicked you out the minute you posted the above but we're not like that if we can help it. If you think you aren't feeling like you are part of the community I'd say you are right - and you caused that feeling all by yourself.

Sad.  Obviously, did not realise this "user" is one of those who enjoys winding people up...but not in a fun way.

Jolly good

I've had a week of justifying why we do things the way we do and your explanation is above.

Locked, back to happy matters like Efes and sunshine.
