Met a family in Dalaman last night, they stayed at the hotel that was on watchdog, they could not fault it, said the food etc was spot on, only one lady from the family said some of the staff were a bit miserable,so maybe a result for Watchdog.

Public beach is fine but be aware that you might be chased off at dusk by hordes of mozzies. The village is a bit small and not much there.

Sarigerme is the name of the beach. The town called Osmanya is only a few bars and shops mainly for the holiday makers. On the beach there are around ten different all inclusive hotels including the new Hilton. Do your research as to quality and service, but they offer everything including watersports.
As far as the golf course goes, it will be at least another three years before it opens. I have inside information as to why but can`t say anything else.

I remember six years ago people being told to buy in Sarigerme as a golf course was being built there fairly imminently. If it's going to be another 3 years now (and we have no reason to believe "vinvola" as he offers no facts at all) that's 9 years since people were first told that a golf course was coming.

In another topic people explain that they can't find flights into Dalaman this coming winter, only flights into Antalya. That is because the Antalya area saw the need for winter reasons for holidaymakers to fly in. They then pulled out all the stops and built golf courses and hotels. This area just talked about it a bit.

I mentioned the fact about the golf course because some-one asked the question. The fact that I can`t say why is i different story. No I am not clever. People do not have to believe me but time will tell. For me it makes no difference.

Oh well..... another one with a secret.!!
I agree with scunner, Investment is sorely lacking in this area.
Perhaps when the Hilton pulls out of the project, powers that be
will get moving.
Land in this area is no different to Antalya,
Just the will is missing.
