I also read last week that a hotel in Sarigerme was having problems. Owned (or used) by another major tour operator. Not good publ;icity for Turkey and I seem to remember the Costas had the same problems a few years back. Probably still do.

I think it's this one:

You don't need to go to Lykia World. I had a bug on Tuesday. Projectile vomited 3 times, luckily my head was down the kazi. Had the gallops all day resulting in the usual sore bum.(Wish I had my Calis bog) 8) Anyway it didn't reach any papers and my house is still open  8).Seriously there are a lot of tummy bugs going round at the moment in UK :-\

It may well be true as I do know that 2 weeks ago there was a high level of illness at the resort and there was concerns over where it came from. I experienced this as well, although we were not staying at the same place and I was in hospital for 5 days. My final 2 days the hospital was really busy with the same cases in fact the doctor commented how busy it had become.

My daughter and and grandchildren have had this sickness bug all week. Half of the kids in their schools have had it as well as 17 of the staff. Seems like most illnesses could be from the U.K and spread around on the planes. Coughs and colds spread the same way. I remember sitting in front of a poor woman who was really ill with a severe cold and me and my husband had it 3 days later and were ill for nearly 2 weeks...Maybe half of the plane where as well.
