Foreign Citizen Number
« on: April 25, 2012, 16:55:49 PM »
Been doing some business at Garanti Bank today and they have sent me an email asking me to supply a Foreign Citizen Number, they have made it clear that this is not your tax number and neither is it any of the numbers in the residency permit. They reckon it is obtained from the passport office? Any Ideas?

Is it your kimlik no they're after? If so, I'm sure step by step instructions have been previously posted. I actually got mine from Alper at ING bank, as he looked it up for me

This link is easier, year of birth, and your residency book number, something like 45-67329, change the - to a /

Your kimlik number should appear below it once you click search.
