Going to Calis in August. As a rule do you get a better rate in Turkey or the UK for exchanging money?

We've normally found the rate better in Turkey. We'd bring a small amount of sterling and also use the ATMs.

Always a better rate in Turkey with the best rates from banks in Fethiye I think.

Always better in Turkey, as said Banks are best bet for highest x rate, exchange shops also not bad (except in Hissy) even shops in tourist areas are better than UK but for best rates stick with the big Banks in Fethiye like ING.
