Have today told one of my neighbours that they cannot renew his DASK, home & contents insurance without him taking out residency  :o. Strange that another neighbour managed to sort his insurance just 2 weeks ago with just a tourist visa!

I sorted my house and contents insurance last week no problem   :)

it is my understanding that you now need a tax no before you can renew your insurance could somebody of got there wires crossed   ;)

No, they went with their passport & tax no, as previous years, but were told they must have residency

Is it certain types of cover? I know when I renewed our Building Insurance (including PL) last year with Intasure we had to declare that we don't live in Turkey, otherwise that policy wouldnt be available to us......
