I wonder, given that many people own their Turkish home, what the Turkish CPI rate would be if Housing Costs were excluded from the 7.3% rate, higher or lower?  We would get a better idea of the impact of the 'adjusted' inflation rate on the Brit community.  Anyone want to do the Math ???

At least you are getting interest that exceeds the inflation rate - not many banks/building societies in Britain are doing that at the moment unless you tie your money up for 5 years. Also think that the inflation figures here are somewhat massaged to look better than they really are.
